November 21st Hilton garden Inn at Boise Spectrum. 5pm banquet $30 tickets from inws9@msn.com
The Idaho Bass Federation will hold it’s annual banquet on November 21, 2009 at Hilton Garden Inn at Boise Spectrum. The day will begin with activities at Western Marine and Tri-State Marine dealerships in Nampa. Both businesses will hold Open House events with professional anglers presenting seminars, and The Idaho Bass Federation will be conducting REEL Kids Casting Competitions for area youth.
Evening festivities will begin at 5 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn with a no-host bar (beer and wine only). Dinner will be served at 6:30 following a brief presentation by Gary Dobyns who is recognized as the professional angler who has won more boats than any other person. Following dinner Mark Gintert, the Youth Director for The Bass Federation national organization will discuss TBF youth programs and will no doubt cover the win by Zach Messer from Northern Idaho of the National Guard Junior World Championship earlier this year. A brief presentation of awards will be made to outstanding members and the 2010 Idaho State Team.
Following the formalities a raffle, silent auction and live auction will commence. There will be thousands of dollars worth of fishing related items and other goods presented for raffle and some higher end products for the silent raffle. Presently we have a HMR 17 rifle, and tires for live auction. We are getting information constantly on additional donations for auction and raffle and expect these items to grow.
This is the first “true fund raiser” banquet that we have ever held. Proceeds from this event will support our Youth and Conservation programs.
Cost for the event is $30 for a meal of Prime Rib or Citrus Pepper Chicken with appropriate sides. A meal ticket includes a chance at the major raffle item which is a Traeger BBQ Smoker. Best value is a single ticket for $70 which will include the above meal, State and National Dues to The Bass Federation and $20 worth of general raffle tickets. All tickets will be pre-sold and can be purchased from Howard’s Tackle, Tri-State Marine, Western Marine, Hilton Garden Inn and American Classifieds on Overland Road. Tickets may also be purchased from many The Idaho Bass Federation members.
